What we collect

We automatically collect certain information or data about you when you use this website. We collect:

We cannot identify you personally from this information and will not associate any data gathered from this site with any other personally identifying information from any source. We do not attempt to collect any personal data about you through this site unless you provide it to us voluntarily; for example, by sending an email, completing our contact form or submitting information to join our database of respondents.

These third-party vendors use cookies on our site to serve adverts based on your past visits.

Why we collect it

The information we collect helps us to:

  • ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your device

  • perform analytics on our site traffic to help us improve the content and presentation of our site

  • carry out marketing activities, including online advertising and remarketing to our previous site visitors on sites owned by third-party vendors, including Google, Microsoft and Facebook. These third-party vendors use cookies on our site to serve adverts based on your past visits

The information that we collect can be viewed by authorised people in FieldworkHub to:

  • gather feedback to improve our services, for example our email alerts

  • identify potential respondents for market research studies from amongst our volunteer panel, and

  • respond to any feedback you send us.

Where your information is stored

We store your information, whenever possible, on secure servers in the European Economic Area (EEA).

Keeping your information secure

Our site uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol to protect the data transmitted between you and our website servers. We also have procedures and security features in place to keep your information secure once we receive it. Disclosing your information

The information that we collect automatically from all website visitors may be shared with third parties including Google, Microsoft and Facebook for online advertising and remarketing purposes. We may pass on your personal information if we have a legal obligation to do so, or if we have to enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements. This may include disclosing to other companies and organisations in connection with fraud protection and credit risk reduction. We won’t share your information with any other organisations for marketing, market research or commercial purposes, and we don’t pass on your details to other websites. 

Your rights

You can find out what information we hold about you, ask us to make corrections, ask us not to use any of the information we collect or ask us to delete the information that we hold about you. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please send your request to data@fieldworkhub.com. In the event that you are unhappy with the way that FieldworkHub responds to you request you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
